As shown, the average ski resort was down -40.9% in the number of sales and -41.5% in dollar volume from 2007 to 2008. Mid-year 2008 and 2009 comparisons show similar declines in the number and dollar volume of transactions of -40.4% and -44.8%, respectively.

As shown, the average ski resort was down -46.4% in the number of sales and -46.0% in dollar volume from 2007 to 2008. Mid-year 2008 and 2009 comparisons show a similar average declines of -34.8% in the number of sales and -47.5% in the dollar volume of transactions. The Aspen-Glenwood Springs MLS posted slightly greater declines in YTD comparisons.

Condominium Sales Activity

As shown, the average ski resort was down -38.9% in the number of sales and -24.2% in dollar volume from 2007 to 2008. Mid-year 2008 and 2009 comparisons show accelerated average declines of 62.4% in the number of sales and -68.1% in the dollar volume of transactions. The Aspen-Glenwood Springs MLS posted greater declines in both year-end and YTD comparisons.
